It is known by this name among the local population. It is unique by the building construction itself, the first of its kind in the Balkans- “hanging” on ropes (cable). Author of the project is arch. Milcho Sapundjiev from Dupnitsa with his design team from Plovdiv. This project is donated by the architect to his home city. It is successfully implemented in 1978 and it brings joy to the locals. The building is an architecture is ensemble of triangles and triangle combinations, incorporate with towers and polygons, unique spatial decisions. Currently, the adaption of the building and the construction of a modern, original museum exposition are expected. Renovation is forthcoming under the project of the Municipality of Dupnitsa to be separated into several halls for exhibits for the Historical Museum.
