Is dating since 1815. The narthex was made in 1822. During 1927- 29 the front façade was change with build-in bell tower. In the yard was the campanology, the old school and the community center building made in 1874. The bigger part of the buildings was dug into the ground. It was painted by the craftsmen’s’  Hristo Zografski, Georgi Boboshevski, Ivan Terziev and Venko Stefanov. In XIX century, it was episcopes church. In the temple the Metropolitan of Samokov was serving, because it was the most representative for its time in the eparchy in Samokov, and was a center for the church-national fights during the Renaissance. In 1929 on the bell tower was put a memorial plaque with the names of those people from Dupnitsa, who died for liberation and unification during the wars from 1912-1918.
